Dr. Narci

Dr. Narci has since he graduated from Eduardo Mundlane University in 1994 held a series of high position within the fisheries institutions in Mozambique. He was responsible for establishing fisheries research institute delegations (autonomous offices) in several provinces in Mozambique. He has also over the years maintained a close collaboration with the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research that has a 40 years history of collaboration with the ministry of fisheries in Mozambique. 

Dr. Narci was responsible for planning, development and construction of the Aquaculture Research Center in Mozambique. Over the last 6 years held the highest administrative position, Permanent Secretary, in the Ministry of Inland Waters, Oceans and Fisheries in Mozambique. (MIMAIP)

He has a vast experience in national and international fisheries regulations and policies as well as in aquaculture development policies and strategy development.
