Guillermo Torres Arjona
Guillermo Torres Arjona is a veterinarian from Spain with a MSc in aquaculture focused on genetics from the University of Life Science in Norway. His practical experience goes from training and management of birds of prey in Spain to implementation and monitoring of fish genetic enhancement programs in Mozambique and Madagascar, enrolled as part of the team of Frost Innovation AS. He has a strong theoretical background including numeric science applied in DNA analysis and DNA based assignments in developing family-based breeding schemes. He was instrumental in developing the new diverse genetic platform for the salt tolerant Mossambicus strain in Mozambique collecting fish from several locations in the wild. He has wide international experience as he has lived in different countries such as Turkey, Norway and Mozambique. His passion are fish, nature and wild life.
